PURPOSE: A cooker is provided to make cooking convenient by preventing the evaporation of water even when a food is boiled for many hours, to reduce energy consumption and cooking hours, and to keep the flavor and nutritive substances extracted from the food. CONSTITUTION: A cooker comprises a pot(10) in which food is received with water and a cover(20) placed on the open upper portion of the pot and containing cooling water for cooling the vapor generated from the water received in the pot with food. An insulating material(11) is charged in the space between double walls of the pot. The vapor cooled by the cooling water falls into the pot.
