PURPOSE: A transmitting apparatus in mobile communication system based orthogonal division multiplexing is provided to efficiently use time-frequency resources and maximize spectrum efficiency, thereby efficiently providing high-speed wireless multimedia service by using wide-band spectrum resources. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of channelizing parts(203,213,...,223) divide data sequence inputted in a sub-channel unit into plural branch data sequences, and spread the divided branch data sequences into different channelizing codes, and mix the channelizing codes with the decided scrambling codes. A frequency hopper(231) performs frequency hopping for data outputted from each channelizing part in the sub-channel unit by characteristics of a wireless transmission line. An inverse Fourier transform unit(232) transforms the data outputted from the frequency hopper(231) by an inverse Fourier transform, and outputs the transformed data.
