APPARATUS FOR EXCHANGING WORK ROLLS OF TENSION LEVELER UNIT SIMPLY AND PROMPTLY WITHOUT MANUAL OPERATION TO PREVENT SAFETY ACCIDENT OF WORKERS

PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for exchanging work rolls of tension leveler unit, wherein the apparatus is capable of preventing safety accident and reducing stopping time of facility by performing an automatic exchanging operation of the work rolls simply and promptly. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for replacing a work roll damaged or worn out with being mounted on a tension leveler unit with a new work roll, the apparatus comprises a first moving car(22) moved along rails(20); a second moving car(34) moved in a direction perpendicular to a moving direction of the first moving car with being mounted on an upper part of the first moving car and equipped with a space(S) longitudinally formed along the moving direction of the second moving car to receive the tension leveler unit; and work roll exchange parts(50A,50B) installed at left and right sides of the space of the second moving car to drawing out a work roll of the tension leveler unit to the outside at any one side of the left and right sides of the space and mount a new work roll on the tension leveler unit at the other side of the left and right sides of the space.
