PURPOSE: A water cooling type electronic component cooling system is provided to allow for ease of installation and maintenance, and achieve improved cooling performance by enhancing a heat exchange structure of a heat absorbing block. CONSTITUTION: A water cooling type electronic component cooling system comprises a heat absorbing block(14) for absorbing heat from components and transmitting heat to a cooling liquid; a pump for compulsorily circulating the cooling liquid; and a radiation fins for radiating heat from the cooling liquid to the air. A plurality of heat absorbing block heat exchange fins(15) are arranged on the heat absorbing block so as to transmit heat absorbed by the heat absorbing block to the cooling liquid. Each of the heat exchange fins has a hexagonal column shape or an incomplete hexagonal column shape with a cut-out portion. The heat exchange fins are arranged in a straight line in one direction, and alternately with each other in another direction orthogonal to the direction.
