PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a saponin-rich ginseng extract is provided to remove the non-saponin components, like amino acid or organic acid, etc. after adsorbing the crude saponin mixture to resin. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a saponin-rich ginseng extract includes steps of: adsorbing the saponin extract, which is obtained as a material by adding an 70%-alcohol or water by 5 to 10 times pro sample weight, to an artificially-synthesized adsorption resin of a diaion HP-20, and by carrying out the extraction and filtering of the mixture at 80 deg.C, but by removing the alcohol; dissolving the resin, to which the extract is adsorbed in the previous step, in 25% and less alcohol of 4 to 5 times pro resin volume and removing a first non-saponin component; and dissolving the resin in the 95% and more alcohol of 4 to 5 times pro resin volume and then carrying out the concentration and pulverization of saponin-rich ginseng extract.
