Accumulation matter processing method and system for water purification of lake and reservoir

PURPOSE: A sediment treatment method for purifying lake and reservoir water is provided, which can dredge sediment that is settled at the base of lake or fish-breeding pond and contain algae and plankton without recontamination the related water area by powerful suction of the sediment by pump and transferring to treatment area through pipe. The dredged area is further treated by mechanical mixing and recirculating aeration to change the stagnating water to a circulating water. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the followings: (i) suck sediments at the base of lake or fish-breeding pond by pump equipped on a dredger(1) and transfer to bar screen(10) on ground through pipe; (ii) remove wood leaf, wood pieces and dust cloth from sediment by bar-screen(10); (iii) form fine floc by feeding coagulant to the foreign material removed sediment and agitating at 150-250 rpm for 30-90 minutes to coagulate organic and inorganic contaminants rapidly; (iv) double expand the volume of fine floc containing sediment by re-agitating at 50-70 rpm and settling for a fixed time; and (v) separate solid and liquid by settling the floc containing sediment through porous plate, partition plate and inclined plate in solid-liquid separation tank(29) and discharge supernatant after sterilizing with ozone, the solid matter being further treated by dewatering and fermentation.
