Promoter of S-adenosyl-L-methionine: jasmonic acid carboxyl methyl transferase gene and method for producing target protein in plants using the same

The present invention provides a promoter of NTR1 gene cloned from Brassica campestris L. ssp. pekinensis and a promoter JMT/i gene cloned from Arabidopsis thaliana having nucleotide sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1 and SEQ ID NO: 2, respectively. The promoters of NTR1 gene and JMT gene according to the present invention can be activated by external stimuli including chemical treatment and injury etc.. Therefore, the target protein can be obtained massively from transgenic plants by linking a gene related to human body treatment or biosynthesis of useful metabolism products to the NTR1 or JMT gene promoter; introducing the gene linked to the promoter into plants; and inflicting an injury or chemicals on the transgenic plants.
