PURPOSE: A volume calculation method for the target internal organs using computed tomography is provided to produce the volume of a particular internal organ and measure the body fat by using the CT image information. CONSTITUTION: An image information of a DICOM(Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) file provided from a CT(Computer Tomography) is converted to a PGM(Portable Grey Map) file(S11). Pixels having a target value are detected from the PGM file and the detected pixels are outputted as GUI(Graphic User Interface) colors(S12). The number of pixels and a mixing ratio corresponding to a CT value of the pixels of the target are calculated and the calculated results are stored in an arbitrary storage unit(S13). A volume and a ratio of the target are calculated by using the stored information of the arbitrary storage unit(S14). The calculated information is displayed(S15).
