WHITENING MAKEUP COMPOSITION CONTAINING SPHINGOLIPID OR SPHINGOLIPID METABOLITES

PURPOSE: A whitening cosmetic composition containing sphingolipid or its metabolite is provided, therefore Akt/PKB can be deactivated to inhibit the growth of melanin cells, and the activity of tyrosinase can be inhibited, to decrease the formation of melanin. CONSTITUTION: The whitening cosmetic composition having inhibiting effect on the growth of melanin cells and formation of melanin contains sphingolipid or its metabolite as active ingredient, in which the sphingolipid or its metabolite, particularly active-ceramide is added into the whitening cosmetic composition in an amount of 0.01 to 30.0 wt.%. The whitening cosmetic composition can be formulated into lotion, emulsion, cream, mask pack or the like.
