PURPOSE: A microorganism Agrobacterium tumefaciens BNQ 0605 and a method for producing coenzyme Q10 using the same are provided, to cheaply produce the coenzyme Q10 in higher yield. CONSTITUTION: The microorganism Agrobacterium tumefaciens BNQ 0605(KCCM-10413) is obtained by the steps of: culturing Agrobacterium tumefaciens(ATCC-4452) in a medium containing glucose; centrifuging the cultured medium and diluting the cell up to 1x108 cfu/ml; adding N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine into the diluted cell containing solution; spreading the mutation induced solution on a solid medium and isolating colonies; and culturing the isolated colonies on a medium containing sugars and selecting microorganism having excellent coenzyme Q10-producing activity. The coenzyme Q10 is produced by fermenting the microorganism Agrobacterium tumefaciens BNQ 0605(KCCM-10413) in a medium containing 35 to 65 g/l of sugar, 30 to 50 g/l of corn dipped solution, 7 to 13 g/l of ammonium sulfate, 0.3 to 0.7 g/l of KH2PO4, 0.3 to 0.7 g/l of K2HPO4, and 0.15 to 0.35 g/l of magnesium sulfate.
