METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY PROCESSING BOOK REQUEST AND BOOK DATA THROUGH USER TERMINAL CONNECTED TO LIBRARY OPERATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for automatically processing book request and book data through a user terminal connected to a library operation system is provided to enhance user's satisfaction for using a library by managing book search/request through an operation program module installed to a library system and automatically collecting data for the book to be bought through the module. CONSTITUTION: A user searches the desired book by connecting to a library operation server(S2). Presence of the desired book is judged by searching database(S4). In case that the desired book is not present, an ISBN(International Standard Book Number) and an MARC(Machine Readable Cataloging) data of the corresponding book are received from a book information provider server with book information, and displayed(S10). The displayed book is requested by clicking a book request button(S14). While the data for the requested book is received/processed, the MARC data including the book information is transmitted to the book information provider server(S16).
