Breakwater using of buoyancy of deep softground

PURPOSE: A breakwater using buoyancy of the depth of a deep soft layer is provided to reduce construction expenses and to shorten a period of construction. CONSTITUTION: The breakwater using buoyancy of the depth of a deep soft layer comprises the steps of: floating a pontoon(1) on an installation site for a breakwater; placing a caisson(10) on the pontoon(1) to sink the pontoon(1) and the caisson(10) to the seabed of the soft ground by load of the caisson(10); locating cap concrete(30) on the top of the caisson(10) to reduce the load of the caisson(10) and the cap concrete(30) to transfer to the lower part by buoyancy of the pontoon(1), settling the pontoon(1) partially to the soft layer and supporting/fixing the pontoon(1).
