PURPOSE: Provided is a roller type grader to easily grade an article according to individual size, to prevent the article from being clogged between the rollers, and to treat the article in a large amount. CONSTITUTION: The roller type grader includes a case(2), a supply portion(4) on which a damper(43) is mounted, a grading portion(6) having grading rollers, a geared motor(GM) for rotating the grading rollers, a vibration generating device(VM) for vibrating the grading portion, a shoot portion(8) having a hinge(82) for ejecting graded articles, a damping device(30) having damping member for absorbing vertical load and a damping member for maintaining gap between the case and a support portion, and a support portion(10). The grading portion includes multiple rows of rollers which comprise a series of grading rollers. The multiple rows of rollers are slanted relative to the case so that grading articles are graded according to individual size by the vibration generating device. The gaps between the grading rollers become narrow toward the lower rows of multiple rows of rollers. During grading operation, water is supplied via a pipeline to the grading portion so as to permit grading operation to be smoothly performed.
