STRIP SURFACE CLEANING EQUIPMENT FOR INCREASING REMOVAL RATIO OF GRINDING OIL BY WIPING SURFACE OF STRIP USING CLEANING CLOTH OF FELT MATERIAL

PURPOSE: To provide an equipment for cleaning the surface of strip in a grinding line, wherein removal ratio of grinding oil adhered to the surface of strip by wiping out the surface of strip using a cleaning cloth made of felt material, and removing efficiency of grinding oil is maximized by always maintaining the cleaning cloth under the best conditions. CONSTITUTION: The equipment for cleaning the surface of strip(150) in a grinding line comprises a frame(10) set up in a width direction of strip so that strip passes through the frame; a cleaning cloth(20) installed on the frame and positioned upper and lower surfaces of strip so that the cleaning cloth wipes out the surface of strip; a coiling means comprising a felt roll which is rotatably mounted on a roll supporting bracket(31) installed at the strip input side of the frame, and on which the cleaning cloth is wound, a winding roll(33) rotatably installed on a roll supporting bracket(32) installed at the strip output side of the frame to wind the cleaning cloth that is unwound from the felt roll, and rotary motors(34,35) respectively installed at the roll supporting brackets to rotate the felt roll and the winding roll to a certain speed; and a close adhesion means for selectively close adhering the cleaning cloth to the surface of strip if it is necessary.
