摘要

PURPOSE: An energy recovery apparatus of a plasma display panel and an energy recovery method are provided to increase energy recovery efficiency and to reduce power consumption. CONSTITUTION: The first panel capacitor(Cp1) is formed between the first Y-electrode(Y1) and the first Z-electrode(Z1). The second panel capacitor(Cp2) is formed between the second Y-electrode(Y2) and the second Z-electrode(Z2). An inductor(L) is connected between the first and the second panel capacitor. The first switch circuit assembles the first panel capacitor and the inductor and the second panel capacitor to be a serial circuit. The second switch circuit supplies a sustain voltage to the first panel capacitor and the second panel capacitor selectively. The third switch circuit supplies a base voltage to the first panel capacitor and the second panel capacitor selectively.
