METHOD FOR CHECKING TAXI INFORMATION BY USING A MOBILE PHONE WHEN TAKING A TAXI AND A PERSONAL SECURITY METHOD AGAINST ABNORMAL TAXI INFORMATION, PARTICULARLY FOR PROTECTING A PASSENGER AGAINST FREQUENT TAXI-RELATED CRIMES

PURPOSE: A method for checking taxi information by using a mobile phone to take a taxi and personal security method against abnormal taxi information are provided to make a passenger feel stable, suitably cope with an abnormal situation, be immediately rescued from crimes, and prevent a stolen taxi-related crimes. CONSTITUTION: A passenger of a taxi(1) inputs a prearranged service number and the number of the taxi(1) through his/her mobile phone(2) and presses a call button. Then, a mobile communication provider repeater(3) recognizes the service number and the car number and requests data from a taxi DB server(4). Then, the corresponding data is transmitted from the taxi DB server(4) to the mobile communication provider repeater(3). The data is then transmitted as an SMS text message to the mobile phone(2) of the passenger. The SMS message can include information on the taxi(1) as to whether the taxi(1) is a non-registered taxi or a stolen car, and information indicating the fact that a location of the mobile phone(2) is being tracked and mobilization of the police.
