IMPROVED INFANT BED CONFIGURED TO FACILITATE PARENT ACCESS AND TO OFFER SAFE AND COMFORTABLE SLEEP

PURPOSE: An improved infant bed is provided to enable a parent or guardian of an infant to easily access to the bed, thereby facilitating interaction between the parent and the infant and to be equipped with an insect-repellent unit and ventilation holes, and offering a safe and comfortable sleep to the infant. CONSTITUTION: The infant bed(10) comprises: a rectangular bottom portion(11) having a plurality of ventilation holes(14); supports(15) provided at appropriate locations of the outer surface of the bottom portion(11) and made of an insect-repellent material; and longer side walls and shorter side walls(12,13) formed along the flange of the bottom portion(11) to be substantially perpendicular to the bottom portion(11), the longer side walls(12) being 120-150 mm high inclusive of the height of each the supports(15), which is substantially equal to the height of a pillow, so that the parent can view the sleeping position of the infant from a distance without having to stand over the bed(10).
