摘要

PURPOSE: The optical pickup transfer unit an OPTICAL RECORDing/reproducing APPARATUS is provided to transfer the optical pickup horizontally in a radial direction by using a sun gear, a satellite gear and a ring gear so that it can reduce the size and noises. CONSTITUTION: The optical pickup transfer unit comprises a deck base(10), an optical pickup(20), a drive motor(30), and a gear train(40). The deck base(10) includes an opening hole(11) formed along a radial direction on an optical disc. A main axis(12) and an assistant axis are formed on both sides of the opening hole(11). The optical pickup(20) mounts an object lens on an upper face, and includes a main axis combination member(22), an assistant axis combination member(23), and a transfer member. The transfer member is moved along a screwed part of the main axis(12). The drive motor(30) outputs power for reciprocating the pickup(30). The gear train(40) transmits power between the drive motor(30) and the main axis(12). A rotational center of the gear train(40) is on the same line as that of the main axis(12) and the drive motor(30).
