METHOD FOR CONFIRMING AN ABSENT TELEPHONE USER, ESPECIALLY WITH REGARDS TO CONFIRMING WHETHER THE USER IS ABSENT BY USING A CHARGE HOLDER OR A BRACKET IN PREMISE OR IN-OFFICE GROUPWARE

PURPOSE: A method for confirming an absent telephone user is provided to confirm whether a user is absent, depending on whether a mobile communication terminal is in a charge holder or a bracket connected to a premise or in-house server through a PC, and to automatically dial or inform of a number of the terminal, so that an originator can easily confirm whether a receiver is absent. CONSTITUTION: A sensing device recognizes that a user is absent(S1). A premise server receives information on the absent user from each PC, and stores the received information in a DB according to each PC identification number and mobile communication terminal number(S2). If a call is made, a premise exchange confirms a receiver(S3), and retrieves an internal memory(S4), then decides whether the receiver is absent(S5). If so, the premise exchange informs an originator that the receiver is absent(S8), and displays a mobile communication terminal number connectable to the receiver on a telephone of the originator(S9).
