PURPOSE: A wireless VoIP access device and an Internet call system using the access device are provided to temporarily register a wireless Internet repeater as a VoIP call repeater of a cellular phone at the request of a user, thereby executing an Internet phone call without passing through a base station by using the cellular phone with the wireless Internet repeater. CONSTITUTION: An IP router module(201) stores ID information on an IP router, IP information on terminals assigned in a local network, and cellular phone ID information, and executes a process for converting a network address of a cellular phone and designating a communication path to source and destination IP addresses. A VoIP module(204) executes Internet phone data communication through a network connected to the designated communication path, converts an analog voice signal into compressed digital packet data, releases the compressed digital packet data, and converts the digitalized voice signal into an analog voice signal. A wireless communication module(206) consists of hardware and software for executing wireless data communication with a wireless VoIP access device.
