PC-BASED UMS FOR INTEGRALLY OPERATING/MANAGING TELEPHONE, FACSIMILE, AND EMAIL

PURPOSE: A PC-based UMS(Unified Message System) for integrally operating/managing a telephone, a facsimile, and an email is provided to offer a person or a small company with a UMS service having high usability and intelligent interface at a low expense, and increase business efficiency by offering an unmanned business environment. CONSTITUTION: A voice server(12) processes a telephone message by connecting to wired/wireless telephone network through a voice processing board(11). A facsimile processor(22) processes a facsimile message by connecting to the wired/wireless telephone network through a modem(21). An email processor(32) processes an email message by connecting to the Internet through a network card(31). A system manager(40) offers the UMS service by integrally managing the voice/facsimile/email message through overall control/management for each message processing means implemented based on a PC.
