PURPOSE: A method is provided to obtain a tube wear prediction by using the unique vibration frequencies and vibration mode of a tube obtained from a high speed secondary side flow energy applied from a turbine cycle to a steam generator. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a step(S51) of modeling a tube by a finite element method(FEM); a step(S52) of calculating the unique vibration frequencies and vibration mode of the tube by using physical property information of the tube and physical property information of a secondary coolant for each of nodes of the FEM model; a step(S53,S54) of determining a wear coefficient of the tube by using the type of material, operating condition, and the fluid condition of the tube and information on the contact between the tube and a support, and calculating a contact force between the tube and the support; a step(S55) of calculating a quantity of wear of the tube by using the wear coefficient and the contact force; and a step(S56) of obtaining a tube wear prediction by using the calculated quantity of wear, wear coefficient, and the contact force.
