WET TYPE IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, CAPABLE OF EXTENDING THE LIFETIME OF A PUMPING ROLLER

PURPOSE: A wet type image forming apparatus is provided to prevent a suction member from being separated or tearing, thereby extending the lifetime of a pumping roller. CONSTITUTION: A pumping roller(31) is rotatably installed in a developer storage tank. A suction member for sucking a liquid developer is furnished at an outer side of the pumping roller. A lower portion of the first partition(35) is contacted with the circumference surface of the suction member and an upper portion of the first partition is extended to the outside of the developer storage tank. The second partition(37) is positioned at the rear of the rotation direction of the pumping roller with an interval separated from the first partition. A lower portion of the second partition pressurizes the outer circumference surface of the suction member and an upper portion of the second partition is extended to the outside of the developer storage tank. A pressurized member(38) for pressurizing the suction member is mounted at a lower portion of the second partition and positioned nearly vertically to the line passing through the rotation center of the pumping roller.
