PURPOSE: A system and a method for operating an item service for making/selling an item are provided to enable a user to plan/make/register the item directly and sell a part of the registered items. CONSTITUTION: A user manager(220) manages user information and assigns the user an item page to register the item. A database(290) stores the user information. An item manager(240) stores the item transmitted from a user terminal to the database and manages the item by registering it to the item page. An item selector(250) selects the salable item by displaying the registered items to a display page allowing connection from an item system operator or other site users, and checking points of each item. An item sale part(260) displays the selected item to an item sale page to selling the item to many and unspecified persons, and stores sale price information of each item to the database.
