PURPOSE: A safety gas range using specific frequency is provided to prevent the water from flowing over by controlling a user fire control mode and to restrict a fire caused by continuous temperature rise. CONSTITUTION: A safety gas range using specific frequency is composed of a steam sensing unit(10) for detecting the amount of steam generated in boiling the water in the cook-pot on the gas range; a frequency generating unit(20) for supplying a level value of the frequency changed in proportion to the amount of the steam fed from the steam sensing unit; a sound generating unit(30) for outputting the sound corresponding to the frequency level value supplied from the frequency generating unit; a frequency deciding unit(40) for executing a safety management step corresponding to the value compared with a pre-set value if the level value of the frequency is supplied from the frequency generating unit for the constant period; and a fire control unit(50) for regulating the level according to the safety management step of the frequency deciding unit.
