PURPOSE: A noise interception material and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to absorb and cut off noise generated from an upper layer and transmitted to a lower layer by layering and foaming plural raw papers with different densities. CONSTITUTION: A noise interception material(300) is composed of a plurality of foam layers(201,202,203) with different densities formed by foam-molding a plurality of raw papers and a plurality of projections(203b) arranged on the upper surface of the foam layer. The foam layer contains EVA(Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) of 30¯90wt%. A noise interception material manufacturing method is composed of steps for making raw papers with different densities containing EVA of 30¯90wt%; molding a foam sheet by layering plural raw papers; and producing the noise interception material by cutting horizontally the center of the foam sheet.
