PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for automatically removing burr from slab, the apparatus for effectively preventing fracture of coil by effectively removing burr formed on the bottom of slab and sensing thus secondly removing remaining burr and greatly improving operation productivity by efficiently performing burr removal operation. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for automatically removing burr formed on the cutting surface of slab(S), the apparatus(1) comprises a lower burr removal part(10) comprising a knife blade(17) vertically lifted and lowered and installed under a roller table(200) on which the slab is moved, wherein the knife blade is rotated to primarily remove burr formed on the lower cutting surface of the slab; and a side burr removal part(50) comprising knife blades vertically lifted and lowered and installed at the rear side of the lower burr removal part to secondly remove horizontally formed burrs remained after not being primarily cut from head end(Sa) and tail end of the slab.
