PURPOSE: An artificial intelligence battery management system is provided to reduce the volume of the system and extend the lifespan of a battery, by constructing a battery over-discharge sensing unit and a unit cell equalization unit through the use of a switching IC and a micro computer IC. CONSTITUTION: An artificial intelligence battery management system comprises a battery unit(102) constituted by a plurality of unit cells; a battery over-discharge sensing unit(101) for sensing voltages of each of unit cells constituting the battery unit; a unit cell equalization unit(104) for individually discharging each of unit cells; and a central processing unit(5) for controlling the battery over-discharge sensing unit and the unit cell equalization unit. The central processing unit cuts off the power of the battery unit when the battery over-discharge sensing unit senses that the voltages of one or more unit cells constituting the battery unit are lower than a predetermined voltage level. The unit cell equalization unit operates after the power of the battery is cut, and continues operation until the battery over-discharge sensing unit senses management end potentials of each of unit cells.
