PURPOSE: A microorganism Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. sotto 00-FZ46-12(KCTC10717BP) and a method for controlling insects and fungi using the same microorganism are provided, which microorganism has both insecticidal and antifungal activity and improved stability to human. CONSTITUTION: The microorganism Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. sotto 00-FZ46-12(KCTC10717BP) having both insecticidal and antifungal activity and improved stability to human is provided, wherein Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. sotto 00-FZ46-12(KCTC10717BP) is isolated from the urine and feces of animals; the insect is selected from Coleoptera, Diptera, Hymenoptera, Lepidoptera, Mallophaga, Homoptera, Hemiptera, Orthroptera, Thysanoptera, Dermaptera, Isoptera, Anoplura, Siphonaptera, Trichoptera and Acari; and the fungus is selected from Botrytis cinerea, Diaporthe actinideae, Botryosphaeria dothidea, Penicillium digitatum and Penicillium italicum. The method for controlling insects and fungi comprises spraying an effective amount of the cultured medium of Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. sotto 00-FZ46-12(KCTC10717BP) to plants.
