PURPOSE: A front balance weight and an installation structure thereof of a washing machine are provided to stably mount the front balance weight and to absorb vibration by using plastic. CONSTITUTION: A structure for installing a front balance weight(40) of a washing machine comprises at least one boss(321) projected at the front lower side of a tub(32); the circular arc-shaped balance weight of the constant length recessed to put the boss and composed of a placing guide formed at the position corresponding to the boss and a combining hole(41) penetrating the center of the placing guide; and a combining member(63) inserted into the combining hole. A constricting member(61) is disposed between an inner peripheral surface of the combining hole and the combining member to prevent the combining member from taking off by the external vibration.
