METHOD AND DEVICE FOR STANDARDIZING/REUSING XML BASED LEARNING CONTENTS OFFERING DIVERS DOCUMENT CONVERTING

PURPOSE: A method and a device for standardizing/reusing the XML(eXtensible Markup Language) based learning contents are provided to offer divers document converting and automated typesetting functions using the learning contents by defining components and attributes of the learning contents. CONSTITUTION: A learning contents request is received from a user(S701). Learning contents information corresponding to the request is extracted from a database(S703). A tree structure comprising learning contents metadata is generated by parsing an XML document corresponding to the request(S705). A font mapped to the MathML(Mathematics Markup Language) included in the XML document is extracted. A code corresponding to at least one of a pronunciation symbol, an archaic word, and a special symbol included in the XML document is extracted. A web document including the learning contents information is generated by using the learning contents metadata, the font, the code, and the tree structure. The generated web document is transmitted to the user(S711).
