PROCESSING AID FOR POLYVINYL CHLORIDE RESIN WHICH REDUCES MELTING TIME AND PROVIDES STABILITY OF FOAMED CELLS AND PREPARATION THEREOF

PURPOSE: Provided is a processing aid for polyvinyl chloride resin, which reduces melting time in processing a polyvinyl chloride resin and gives excellent foaming characteristics and stability of foamed cells in an extrusion foaming process. CONSTITUTION: The processing aid composition for polyvinyl chloride resin comprises: 60-86 parts by weight of methyl methacrylate; 14-39.9 parts by weight of at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of alkyl acrylates, alkyl methacrylates and mixtures thereof; and 0.0001-0.1 parts by weight of at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of multi-functional monomers. The processing aid has a relative viscosity of 4.0-12.0 and is used in an amount of 0.1-20 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of polyvinyl chloride resin.
