PURPOSE: A hinge device comprising dual cams for a folder-type cover in a portable communication terminal is provided to rapidly open a cover up to a fully open position where the cover is stopped when the cover is opened at more than a certain neutral position, while stopping the cover at a random closed position when the cover is closed, thereby inclining the cover in the closed position to see a moving image or to transceive text information. CONSTITUTION: The first hinge cam(21) is fixed to a communication terminal body(1), and guides a closed directional rotation of a cover(2). The second hinge cam(25) is installed not to rotate, is supported toward the first hinge cam(21) by hinge springs(26), and guides an open directional rotation of the cover(2). The first cam operator(22) is fixed in engagement with the first hinge cam(21) when the cover(2) rotates in open direction, and relatively rotates in cover closed direction when the cover(2) rotates in closed direction. The second cam operator(24) is rotatively supported in cover open direction when the cover(2) rotates in open direction, so as to permit the second hinge cam(25) to relatively rotate in the cover open direction, and relatively rotates in the cover closed direction for the first hinge cam(21) while being fixed to the second hinge cam(25) when the cover(2) rotates in the closed direction.
