PURPOSE: A cooking apparatus is provided to minimize combustion of food, and to restrict outflow of smell in cooking by condensing and liquefying evaporating steam including smell particles again. CONSTITUTION: A cooking apparatus(100) is composed of a vessel(10) heating food(1) by using high temperature heat, and a cooling unit(40) having a cover plate(20) covered with edge packing(21) for closing the vessel and a housing(30) combined with the cover plate and composed of an air circulation hole(23) and a fan(32) supplying cool air. Plural cooling pieces(22) are integrally and vertically installed in the upper part of the cover plate in radial direction, and the vessel is protected by a thermal insulating member with a heater. The side of the cooling unit is combined with the thermal insulating member, and the cooling unit is turned around a hinge part and opened or closed by a clip. Power is supplied to the fan by a power cable through the hinge part.
