PURPOSE: A mobile terminal having a detachable auxiliary battery is provided to allow a user to use mobile terminal for a long time as necessary by using a plurality of auxiliary batteries and avoid inconvenience of turning off the power of the terminal in order to mount a battery therein. CONSTITUTION: A main battery(120) for supplying power is detachably attached at one side of a terminal body(100). An auxiliary battery(130) is mechanically detachably attached to the main battery(120) and electrically connected thereto. A plurality of auxiliary batteries(130) can be detachably attached successively and electrically connected. Receiving ports are formed at a rear side of the main battery(120) to allow the auxiliary battery(130) to be mechanically mounted on the main battery(120). Fixed ports are formed at each position corresponding to the positions of the receiving ports, at a front side of the auxiliary battery(130).
