PURPOSE: An injection device and a method for controlling the same are provided to control a transferring direction of a glass substrate to make a formation direction of nozzles and a direction of patterns parallel, thereby improving a process margin. CONSTITUTION: An injection device has nozzle devices(11) having injection solution supply pipes(12) and nozzles(13) formed at the injection solution supply pipes, and a conveyor(21) transferring a glass substrate(50). A pattern sensing unit recognizes a direction of stripe patterns formed on the glass substrate. A control unit receives the direction of stripe patterns from the pattern sensing unit, and places the glass substrate at the conveyor so that the stripe patterns are in parallel with the nozzles.
