ELECTRIC HEATER FOR HEATING INDOOR AIR BY USING NATURAL CONVECTION WITH SIMPLE STRUCTURE AND MAKING BEST USE OF INDOOR SPACE

PURPOSE: An electric heater by natural convection is provided to reduce the size of the system and heat the indoor entirely by heating indoor air with natural convection with simple structure, and to regulate temperature of discharge air by selectively controlling plural heating plates. CONSTITUTION: An electric heater by natural convection is composed of a case(10) having plural air inlets(11) in the lower part and plural air outlets(12) in the upper part, plural heating plates installed in the case and heated by receiving power, an air passage formed between the heating plates, and a switch unit(40) placed outside the case to control power supplied to the heating plates. The switch unit is composed of plural switches to selectively control the heating plates. A guide bar(60) is formed in the back of the case, and a guide part is inclined in the guide bar to guide air flow. A shutoff unit is formed in the end of the guide part to cover the air inlets and the air outlets.
