PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for developing a filter plate of a filter press, which is able to rapidly and simply separate sludge cake by developing the filter plate in sequence using a developing protrusion rotated at the upper portion of a moving block. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a pair of driving screw shafts (31) which is installed on both sides of the lower part of a filter plate (10) to be geared with a driving motor (30), a moving block (40) that is screw-coupled to the driving screw shafts, driven screw shaft (41) that is fixed into the moving block and has a developing member (50) on one end portion, lifting members (60) which are respectively installed on both sides of the filter plate to move up and down as being contacted with the developing member and include rack gears (61), pinion gears (63) which are respectively installed on both side of the filter plate to be combined with the rack gears, a link, one end of which is connected with the upper side of the lifting members and the other end of which is combined with a lifting roll (70) inserted into the filter plate, and a guide groove (81) which is formed on the upper portion of the filter plate to allow the lifting roll to be inserted thereinto.
