PURPOSE: A method for adjusting the process control device, a tool for adjusting the same and a process control apparatus by using the same are provided to minimize the artificial error or the deviation of adjustment by evaluating the difference of the control characteristics quantitatively. CONSTITUTION: A method for adjusting the process control device includes the steps of: identifying(S01) the transport function model of the transport control target; adjusting(S02) the compensation parameter of the external disturbance compensator; determining(S03) whether the step of the external disturbance compensator is responded or not; adjusting(S04) the parameters of the transport functions; evaluating(S05) the step response of the model transport function; setting(S06) the control parameter of the controller; and evaluating(S07) the step response of the process control device.
