COVER STRUCTURE FOR IMPROVING ASSEMBLING EFFICIENCY OF INSTRUMENT PANEL IN VEHICLE BY COMBINING INSTRUMENT PANEL WITH MIDDLE HOUSING WITH COVER AND LIGHT GUIDE EFFICIENCY BY PREVENTING LEAK OF LIGHT

PURPOSE: A cover structure for improving assembling efficiency and light guide efficiency of an instrument panel of a vehicle is provided to project the light of a pointer efficiently by restricting diffusion of light at the center of the pointer, and to assemble the instrument panel with the middle housing simply by varying the shape and the size of the cover part. CONSTITUTION: An instrument panel(10) is integrally combined with a middle housing(20) by assembling a cover part with an opening part around which a pointer(40) is placed, and the pointer is combined with a light guide shaft(30) by an insertion case(42). The cover part is composed of a cylindrical edge, three blade parts(120) extended outward in the lower part of the edge in radial direction and arranged to support the instrument panel, and three supporting parts integrally extended in the lower part of the edge and composed of fitting sills(132) protruded outward to support the middle housing. Diffusion of light is prevented by surrounding the light guide shaft with the cylindrical edge of the cover part.
