METHOD FOR INFORMING OF A POSITION IN A MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL THROUGH AN AUTOMATIC BELL MODE CONVERSION, ESPECIALLY WITH REGARDS TO OUTPUTTING A MAXIMUM BELL SOUND WHEN A CALL IS MADE TO THE MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL EVEN THOUGH THE TERMINAL IS SET TO A VIBRATION OR MANNER MODE

PURPOSE: A method for informing of a position in a mobile communication terminal through an automatic bell mode conversion is provided to transmit a message by using other terminal even though a user does not remember a position where the user's terminal is located, and to automatically convert into a bell sound mode, thereby informing the user of the terminal position. CONSTITUTION: When a text message is received(201), a controller compares a control code of the message with a control code of a stored message(202). If the compared codes are the same, the controller stores a telephone number of an originating terminal(204), and enables a 'cellular phone position notify' flag(205), then drives a timer(206). If a call is received while the timer is driven(207,208), the controller confirms an originating telephone number to compare with the stored telephone number(209). If the compared numbers are equal, the controller controls to produce a maximum bell sound even though a bell output method is set to a vibration or manner mode(210).
