HYBRID FIBER AND COAXIAL TRANSMISSION NETWORK OPERATING WITH A DC POWER, ESPECIALLY RELATED TO REPLACING A POWER SUPPLIER WHICH OUTPUTS AN AC SQUARE WAVE WITH A DC POWER SUPPLIER WHICH OUTPUTS A DC POWER
PURPOSE: An HFC(Hybrid Fiber and Coaxial) transmission network operating with a DC power is provided to install more than two DC power suppliers at one cell in parallel, in order to supply power by one of the DC power suppliers if other one of the DC power suppliers has a defect, thereby stably operating the HFC transmission network. CONSTITUTION: More than one DC power supplier(410-430) supplies a driving power to an HFC transmission network. More than one ONU(Optical Network Unit) converts an optical signal transmitted along an optical transmission network and a predetermined electrical signal transmitted along a coaxial transmission network. More than one TBA(Trunk Bridge Amplifier) compensates for loss of the electrical signal generated from the coaxial transmission network. More than one splitter splits the electrical signal into more than two paths. More than one tap-off unit divides the electrical signal to a subscriber terminal. The DC power suppliers(410-430) include more than one rectifier for rectifying an applied AC input signal into a predetermined DC signal.
