PURPOSE: A spare tire carrier system for a truck is provided to easily match a tire placing plate to a central line of a spare tire by a guide pin projected on the tire placing plate and to prevent the spare tire from separating by inserting the guide pin directly into a bolt hole of the spare tire. CONSTITUTION: A spare tire carrier system for a truck comprises a shaft(12) installed at a carrier body(10) mounted at the lower part of a truck body and composed of a handle fitting unit(11) into which an operating handle is inserted; a chain(14) wound around a chain sprocket(13) rotated by the shaft; and a tire placing plate connected with one end of the chain. The tire placing plate is composed of a body unit(31) formed in the center and coupled with the chain to support a spare tire(SP) from the underside and plural guide pins(32) inserted into bolt holes formed on a wheel of the spare tire and protruded at both sides of the body unit.
