摘要

PURPOSE: A bi-directional sliding type portable terminal is provided to effectively utilize camera lens, protect the camera lens from external environment, and enhance use convenience of the lens, by employing a bi-directional sliding housing in a body housing. CONSTITUTION: A body housing(10) includes the first region(110) and the second region, wherein the first region(110) has a plurality of keys(102) formed on top surface(10a) of one end of the body housing(10), the second region is located on top surface of the other end of the body housing(10), and a camera lens housing is disposed at the second region by being separated from the first region(110) while being opposite to the first region(110). A bi-directional sliding housing(20) linearly moves along a longitudinal direction of the body housing(10) while maintaining a facing relationship according to the longitudinal direction. If the bi-directional sliding housing(20) moves toward the second region, the first region(110) is opened to expose the keys. If the bi-directional sliding housing(20) moves toward the first region(110), the second region is opened to expose the camera lens.
