PURPOSE: A digital data transmitting apparatus and method, a digital data receiving apparatus and method, a digital broadcasting receiving apparatus and method, and a computer-readable recording medium are provided to transmit MPEG2 streams and other data items in parallel while maintaining program synchronization. CONSTITUTION: A digital data transmitter segments a plurality of MPEG2 transport streams or a plurality of MPEG2 program streams and a plurality of data items into packets having an identical size, adds packet arrival time correction information to the packets, time-division-multiplexes the packets, to form multiplexed streams. A digital data receiver includes a demultiplexer(109) and a time information corrector(110). The demultiplexer separates the multiplexed streams. The time information corrector corrects time information of the multiplexed streams based on the packet arrival time correction information.
