摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a cooling control system and a cooling control method for hot rolling a strip at high speed by installing a plurality of upper and lower levelers arranged with being parallel to a traveling direction of the strip and controlling water cooling time and air cooling time in realtime at a roughing mill delivery temperature. CONSTITUTION: The cooling control system for hot rolling a strip at high speed comprises a plurality of upper levelers(20) and lower levelers(21) which are installed at positions lower than a proceeding height of the strip(8), and of which height is adjustable by a driving motor; leveler guides(22) for moving the respective levelers up and down by the driving motor; and a control system(24) for calculating and setting height directional positions of the upper levelers and the lower levelers, driving stroke of the leveler guides and cooling control starting and finishing positions by reading a rolling speed instruction value of supervisory control computer, actually measured rolling speed values and actually measured temperature values of thermometer(9).
