GROUP COMMUNICATION METHOD USING MULTICASTING/UNICASTING CONVERSION, ESPECIALLY CONCERNED WITH ENABLING TERMINALS OF A GROUP TO EXECUTE GROUP COMMUNICATION IN REAL TIME USING INTERACTIVE MULTICASTING/UNICASTING CONVERSION ON THE INTERNET, WHERE MULTICASTING PACKET COMMUNICATION IS NOT SUPPORTED, WITHOUT INCREASING NETWORK TRAFFICS

PURPOSE: A group communication method using multicasting/unicasting conversion is provided to enable a plurality of terminals, belonging to a group, to execute group communication in real time using bidirectional multicasting/unicasting conversion on the Internet, where multicasting packet communication is not supported, without increasing network traffics. CONSTITUTION: If clients of a group execute login through a session management server in a hub center(201), the hub center confirms whether each network has a representative client, using the IP address registered in a registry(202). In case that a representative client does not exist in a network, the hub center appoints the initially joined client in the network as the representative client of the network(203). If a generic client of a network broadcasts multicasting packet data, the representative client of the network converts the broadcasted packet data into unicasting packet data in real time and transmits them to a relay server(204). The relay server transmits the unicasting packet data to the representative clients of the other networks using the representative client information transmitted from the hub center(205).
