PURPOSE: A subminiature antenna for UWB(Ultra-Wide Band) communication is provided to widen a band characteristic by forming a plurality of matching stubs between a patch and a power line. CONSTITUTION: A minimized antenna for UWB communication includes a substrate(108), a patch, an air gap slot, and a ground(107). The patch is formed to be smaller than the substrate on one side of the substrate and emits energy when excited by a current supplied by a supply line. The air gap slot is formed in the patch and adjusts a frequency band. The ground region is formed by removing a predetermined portion of the other side of the substrate in order to obtain a wide band characteristic.
