PURPOSE: An air filter assembly is provided to prevent a filter media mounted in an air filter case from separating by at least two hanging sills and to quickly separate and install the filter media without catching both sides of the filter media by the hanging sills. CONSTITUTION: An air filter assembly is composed of a filter media; an air filter case(2) for fixing the outer periphery of the filter media; and a hanging sill(3) formed on the upside of the air filter case to prevent the filter media from separating. The total length of an air filter case lateral side(2a) formed with the hanging sill is L. The length formed from the end of the air filter case lateral side to the hanging sill is L1. Accordingly, the hanging sill is formed in a range that L1 is larger or same as 0.1L and smaller or same as 0.3L.
