PURPOSE: An incoming and outgoing apparatus having plural subscriber information modules and a method therefor are provided to use various mobile communication services all over the world with one incoming and outgoing apparatus by installing subscriber information modules for every mobile communication service and comprising a mobile communication modem and a frequency band appropriate for each subscriber information module and to conveniently use a mobile communication service without a smart card for mobile communication. CONSTITUTION: A subscriber information module generating part(23) generates subscriber information modules storing subscriber information including carrier identification numbers of a plurality of mobile communication services respectively. A carrier identification number display part(24) displays the carrier identification numbers included in the subscriber information stored in the subscriber information modules respectively. A carrier selection signal receiving part(25) receives a carrier selection signal indicating one of the displayed carrier identification numbers from a user recognizing the displayed carrier identification numbers. A subscriber information module selecting part(26) selects the subscriber information module according to the received carrier selection signal.
